This page contains links to the reports and resulting Statutory Instruments from our Third Statutory Reviews of Electoral Arrangements which took place between 1996 and 1998. The resulting 1,222 wards were in use from 1999 to 2007. These were the first reviews after the introduction of 32 unitary local authorities in Scotland by the Local Government etc (Scotland) Act 1994.
